My passion for health & fitness really started just over two years ago, when a group of girls from the circuits class I attended asked if I wanted to take part in a ‘muddy run’ with them – mud, obstacles & running, it sounded awesome so of course I said yes!

Well, the rest as they say, is history! I absolutely loved the buzz of the race and soon found myself signing up for bigger, more challenging races. 2015 was a huge year for me, with the majority of it revolving around fitness or racing. I was always the on the go, running, boot camp & training during the week & then travelling up and down the country at the weekends taking part in half marathons & OCRs (obstacle course racing)

It was during this time that I decided I wanted this to become more than just a hobby. I had experienced first hand the amazing affect that fitness had on my own life – I was having more fun than ever before, made so many great friends & even met my other half! I wanted to help get other people fit and get them out there doing thing they would have once thought wouldn’t be possible!

I started doing my research and looking into how I could get qualified, and that’s when I came across Body Aid Solutions! At the time I was still working full time so the fact that Body Aid offered distance learning courses with weekend workshops was perfect for me – and only 5 minutes round the corner, perfect! I signed up for the Personal Training Diploma (Level 2, Level 3 & 2 CPD course) and began to get excited about what the future was going to hold!

Fast forward 6 months, and it was all done. I was now a qualified Personal Trainer! Now all I had to do was bite the bullet and go for it! My passion was running, and I knew that is what I wanted to help people do, whether it was someone wanting to run their first 5k, or improve their half marathon time!

I am now working alongside my friend (and running coach!) as one of the PTs for Inspire Fitness 4 All, based in Peterborough, & the surrounding areas and I am also a free lance PT & class instructor at Lifestyle Fitness in Peterborough.

I absolutely love the buzz of helping people work out and get stronger, whether it is a 1 on 1 PT session or a group circuit session! In August I also got my MetaFit qualification – Meta fit is a version of HIIT and I absolutely love teaching the classes! HIIT training is one of my favourite ways to train, it’s what I do on a daily basis and what I get my clients to do too.   I now teach 6 classes a week, and looking to add more as they get more popular!

A successful Circuit Class!

I just want to say a massive thank you to Body Aid Solutions as without them, and their support I wouldn’t be doing what I love! If you are thinking about a career in the fitness industry I definitely recommend going with Body Aid Solution; the tutors are knowledgeable, friendly & supportive, the information provided is second to none, and with the option of paying in interest free installments the cost is a lot more manageable than other learning providers on the market.

I will definitely be using Body Aid Solutions again for future qualifications; in fact I am just looking at what course to do next!
